Print Faster with Multi-threaded Processing Core!

New Year - new updates! We released the new Print Conductor 5.3 with redesigned multi-threaded printing engine. In the new version we also added more features for printing drawings, Microsoft Word files and added more supported formats. Now you can batch print your PDF files, images, drawings and other documents with higher print speed and quality.

Print Conductor optimizes your printing. No need to open a document - make print settings - launch a print job - proceed to the next document, repeat. Instead, you just drag and drop the files to Print Conductor main window or select path to the desired folder and print them all at once.

New formats supported: SWF, HPGL and PLT

We added 3 new file formats to 70+ types of files already supported:
SWF: Small web format, an Adobe Flash file format used for multimedia, vector graphics and ActionScript. The new version of Print Conductor can print files in SWF format.
HPGL: Hewlett-Packard Graphics Language for printers and the primary printer control language used by HP plotters and plotters produced by other manufacturers. Print Conductor now supports both HPGL/1 and HPGL/2 types and *.hp *.hpg *.hpgl file extensions.
PLT: A universal AutoCAD Plotter Document format used by the majority of plotters is now supported by Print Conductor.

Print Conductor is now compatible with eDrawings Viewer (2017 version)

eDrawings viewer (2017 version) is now supported by Print Conductor. eDrawings Viewer is a freeware tool you can use to view, print and review eDrawings, SolidWorks and AutoCAD DWG and DXF files. So, now that it is supported by Print Conductor, you can have only eDrawings Viewer installed to print these types of files. You no longer need to install AutoCAD or SolidWorks for printing DWG or DXF files or other drawings.

New abilities for Microsoft Word:

Enable/Disable Macros. Microsoft Word documents may have macros - scripts created to automate frequently-used tasks (e.g. insert current date) By default, Print Conductor has all macros disabled. In the new version you can enable or disable them in advanced settings when printing.
Show/Hide tracked changes and comments (MarkupMode). When you turn on Track Changes, Microsoft Word marks up and shows any changes that anyone makes to the document: insertions, comments, deletions or formatting changes, etc. Now you don't need to turn on/off Show Markup for each Word document before printing. You can do it for all files at once in Print Conductor advanced settings.

Improved PDF printing engine with multithreading provides:

Higher performance for multi-core processors. Most modern PCs have several processing cores. The new version of Print Conductor prints documents faster thanks to multithreading algorithm with load spreaded on all the processing cores of your computer.
Increased print speed for multipage PDF documents. The enhanced printing engine core of Print Conductor provides higher print speed for multipage files in PDF format. According to our tests, average elapsed time for printing 100 multipage PDF files is 6 minutes 30 seconds.
Increased print speed for TIFF, JPEG and PNG, Bitmap and GIF files. The new multi-threaded printing engine allows to print image files faster without any quality loss. According to our tests, average elapsed time for printing 100 image files is 1 minute 40 seconds.

Fixed issue when Print Conductor crashes via Remote Desktop

Sometimes our IT specialists need to get connected to user's PC via TeamViewer or remote desktop in order to look into the technical problem. We successfully fixed the issue when Print Conductor crashed via remote desktop.

Fixed AutoCAD DWG and DXF autorotation component

Print Conductor is widely used to print DWG, DXF files and other types of drawings. We fixed the autorotation feature for these documents - now the drawings are properly autorotated according to their page format.

Other improvements and fixes

We made other minor interface improvements for smooth usability of Print Conductor, such as proper minimizing of the main window and some others.
